- 1 kg minced meat (beef or lamb)
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 5 garlic cloves, minced
- 3 tomatoes, chopped
- 3 potatoes, cut into wedges

- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 hot pepper (optional)
- 5 bay leaves
- 4 cinnamon sticks
- Fresh coriander, chopped
- ½ cup olive oil
- ½ cup harissa or hot sauce (daqous)
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Salt and mixed spices to taste
Instructions
- Prepare the vegetables: Cut potatoes into wedges, slice zucchini and peppers, and chop tomatoes and onion.
- Season the minced meat with salt, spices, garlic, and some chopped onion. Form into medium-sized meatballs.

- Add the remaining vegetables (zucchini, peppers, tomatoes) on top of the meatballs.
